Science teachers have been making “instant ice cream” for years much to the delight of their students. In fact, Liquid Nitrogen Ice Cream was actually first invented by Agnes Marshall in 1901. Thats over 100 years ago!

Our handcrafted method of making Liquid Nitrogen Ice Cream creates a denser, creamier ice cream and allows us to control the entire ice cream making process.

Machine mixers or Kitchen Aid machines treat every flavor the same way without the necessary control over the entire process. The reality is that every ice cream flavor is different and unique and ingredients needed to be added at a specific stage of the process. Nobody likes breaking their teeth on frozen gummies!

Because machines mixes the ice cream base so quickly it actually whips a lot of air into the ice cream. This creates a less creamier and denser ice cream than the handcrafted method. In addition, the handcrafted method actually increases the amount of time that your ice cream will stay frozen since there aren’t additional air pockets.

Besides for being exceptionally entertaining and freezing the ice cream instantly before your eyes, the ice cream is far creamier and thicker than regular ice cream. Its often described as having a very velvety texture.

There is a difference between ice cream handcrafted and made by machine.

Also keep in mind that the ingredients that are used are often different. Some stores still use syrups as flavors. We only use fresh ingredients. When we make Strawberry Ice Cream we use real strawberries!

Unfortunately alot of stores use cream that is made from powder. This powder is mixed with water and viola you have an ice cream base. This is the same ice cream base that is used in regular soft serve machines.

We will never serve your ice cream with any liquid nitrogen on it. When we give you your ice cream the liquid nitrogen has completely evaporated.

Dragons Breath is a frozen dessert where different dessert options are immersed in liquid nitrogen and flash frozen.

When you put it in your mouth, it produces vapor or smoke that comes out of your nose and mouth which looks like a Dragon breathing

Chances are you experienced Dragons Breath using cereal. Very often the cereal is old and stale and cereal is cereal, no matter what you do with it.

We use gourmet popcorn which is delicious. You will definitely taste the flavor!

Working with Liquid Nitrogen is very similar to working with boiling oil except the temperature is freezing and not boiling.

Unfortunately the injuries that have occurred are because the Dragon’s Breath has been served incorrectly. Most stores are serving the Dragons Breath with some Liquid Nitrogen left at the bottom of the cup. This is the same as a McDonalds employee serving you your fries with some boiling oil left at the bottom. Its just plain stupid and thats how people get injured.

When you serve the Dragons Breath with Liquid Nitrogen in the bottom it does a couple of things. Firstly it prolongs the Dragons Breath effect but more importantly you risk the chance of burning yourself by either touching the Liquid Nitrogen or putting Liquid Nitrogen into your mouth or putting a piece of cereal into your mouth that hasn’t warmed up enough. Would you put boiling hot fries in your mouth without letting them cool down a bit? I didn’t think so.

Obviously we feel very strongly about this and safety is our main concern. We never serve our Dragons Breath popcorn with any Liquid Nitrogen left in the container. It has fully evaporated by the time you receive it which also allows the Popcorn time to warm up so you don’t freeze your mouth.

We have over 30 different gourmet flavors such as French Toast with a chocolate drizzle, Jolly Rancher, Hot Chocolate, Salted Caramel and Cotton Candy to name a few.

The effect lasts a couple of minutes which is all the time you need to enjoy your bowl of Dragon’s Breath Popcorn

The Liquid Nitrogen cools the popcorn down. For our sweet popcorn flavors, the Liquid Nitrogen actually enhances the flavors so they seem to pop. For our savory flavors such as Jalapeno, the Liquid Nitrogen delays the flavor, at first you barely taste it and then you really taste it.

The difference in temperature between your mouth and the popcorn and the combination of the hot and cold releases the smoke out of your mouth and nose.

The smoke in your nose and mouth is not created by the Liquid Nitrogen since you do not eat any of the Liquid Nitrogen and there is no Liquid Nitrogen on our popcorn! It is created by the temperature difference.

We will never serve any popcorn that still has Liquid Nitrogen on it. When you receive your Popcorn the Liquid Nitrogen has fully dissolved and the popcorn has had sufficient time to warm up.

We are completely mobile and our area of expertise is catering. We bring the Liquid Nitrogen experience to you.

In the stores there is a large piece of glass between you and the smoke.

We remove the glass and the experience is completely immersive. Its entertaining and fun.

Besides for being absolutely delicious the entire experience is unique, fun and entertaining. Your guests of all ages will absolutely love it.

We can serve at any time that suits you.

Most of our clients have the Dragons Breath Popcorn during Cocktail hour and then the Liquid Nitrogen Ice Cream for dessert. Or you could have only one for dessert or both for dessert at the same time.

If you are having less than 150 people we will serve for 1 hour. Please contact us to discuss serving time if you are having more than 150 people.

We will arrive at your event approximately an hour before your requested serving time.

This will allow us enough time to off load, setup and be ready to serve.

We do a lot of weddings, corporate events and expos where it is often adults only.

Although not everyone will have the Dragons Breath Popcorn or the Liquid Nitrogen Ice Cream, there are plenty of people that come back for seconds and often thirds. This evens out and accounts for the people that dont have. Based on our experience we generally serve about 5% more than the actual number of guests at an event.

Some people aren’t that adventurous and some simply want something simple.

By choosing one flavor from each of our categories we can ensure that generally all your guests will be able to come experience and savor the Liquid Nitrogen excitement.

We can serve 200 servings of Liquid Nitrogen Ice Cream in an hour and 300 servings of Dragons Breath Popcorn in an hour.

There is no other action food station or even buffet setup that can serve this quickly!

We personally hate standing in lines! That’s why we can serve so quickly.

There is always a large crowd at the beginning because its so exciting and everyone wants to see what is happening but we get through the majority of the crowd in the first 20-30 minutes and then we serve the remainder of your guests.
